Yes. It can be rather sudden. Some people have a chance to say goodbye...

Sort of. I imagine prison to be a completely terrible, ugly place.

It's difficult to explain, I suppose you'll have to see for yourself. There are apartments, stores and good people. Everyone lives here together for better or worse.
